  • Breathwork has been deemed one of the safest therapy modalities available when no serious contraindications are present.

    A scientific study finished in 2013 with 11,000 patients at a community mental health hospital conducted over 12 years showed ZERO ADVERSE REACTIONS. It can be uncomfortable at times, but it is not dangerous.


    If you have respiratory or cardiovascular issues, use heavy pain medications or diagnosed with a severe mental health condition, talk to your health practitioner or breathwork facilitator first before signing up. UNSAFE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN

Your Session

To attend a group session, pre-registration is required before 6pm the day of the journey here. No walk-ins. Take a light meal at least one hour before the session and make sure you are well hydrated. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring some water and lip balm if you like. We also have filtered water available.

What to bring

The goal is for you to be very comfortable laying on your back for an hour or so, without restricting your airways.

  • NECK / HEAD SUPPORT
    We provide rolled up towels you can use under your neck, which is preferred because it keeps your airways open, but you can bring a small pillow that will not restrict your airways if you wish.

  • SLEEP MASK
    To insure a totally immersive experience, we recommend using an eye covering for complete darkness. We have some new ones available if you do not have one.

  • MAT or PAD
    We also provide very nice sheepskin rugs for each participant to lay on during the session. If you prefer to lay on something else or need more padding, feel free to bring your own mat or pad. Camping pads work well as we are laying on a concrete floor.

  • LIGHT BLANKET
    It’s also good to bring a light blanket as sometimes you get chilly.

  • BOLSTER/PILLOW for UNDER KNEES
    If you have a hard time laying flat on the floor for a while, you might want to bring something to put under your knees.
